Nitric Oxide Therapy Addresses High Blood PressureA little over a week ago 31 million Americans were classified as having high blood pressure. Yet no one in the medical community is helping them understand how nitric oxide therapy addresses high blood pressure.

This post contains a link to Our Nitric Oxide Therapy ebook.

This ebook will help you understand how the 1998 Nobel Prize in Medicine was awarded to 3 American researchers for discovery how the lining of your cardiovascular system (called the endothelium) converts the amino acid L-arginine into nitric oxide.

Nitric oxide has been called the Miracle Molecule for what it can do to help regulate your cardiovascular system for improved blood flow.

With the awarding of the Nobel Prize there was an explosion of research in this area. Currently, there are over 100,000 peer reviewed clinical studies in the area of nitric oxide therapy. Yet even as we end the year 2017 most people have never heard of this natural way to address most cardiovascular health concerns including high blood pressure. Read More →

Hydration BasicsI recently received an email from a friend of mine whose son became dehydrated during a x-country meet. He wanted to know how it could have been prevent, especially since the trip to the hospital cost them $2500. So let’s look at some hydration basics:

75% of your body is water

80% of your brain is water

75% of your muscles are water

92% of your blood is water

Hopefully you’re seeing how important water is to your human performance. What is the Best Anti Aging Ingredient?

Posted by Dan Hammer //
 05/15/2017

For most people the best anti aging ingredient is the one they fail to consume on a dailyBest Anti Aging Ingredient basis. Or they think they’re consuming it, but because of additives and sugars they’re actually accelerating the aging process instead of slowing it down.

What is this ingredient?

Pure water!

Now you can do some things to enhance your water like add lemons or liquid chlorophyll. But by itself water is the best anti aging ingredient that you need to consume on a daily basis.

Couldn’t Coffee, Soda, or Beer Be The Best Anti Aging Ingredient?

No! You’re thinking that you get lots of water in the eight cups of coffee you drink or the several cans of soda you consume. Or maybe you’re counting the bottles of beer after work because it makes you go to the bathroom.

SORRY! THESE DON’T COUNT!

It needs to be pure water and lots of it! Before I tell you why, let me give you some facts that you can share at work: Read More →

Why Your Microbiome is Key to Good Health

Posted by Dan Hammer //
 03/22/2017

In 2001 the term Microbiome was coined by a researcher named Joshua Lederberg. The term applies Microbiometo the 100 trillion microbial cells that each person carries on and in their body.

Whether you believe in evolution or Creation there is a symbiotic relationship between these microbial cells and human cells. A symbiotic relationship that either leads to good health or poor health.

In fact when you look in the mirror what you see is your human expression of your human cells. However, if you had the eyes of a powerful microscope you would see a world of microbial cells that outnumbered your human cells by a factor of 10.

Which has lead researchers in the area of the microbiome to use the phrase “We Are Only 10% Human!”

Why is this important?

Because the makeup of your micriobiome significantly, if not entirely, impacts your health and wellness. To the point where every major disease and illness today has a link back to your microbiome.

Fish Oil or Plant Oil for Heart Health

Posted by Dan Hammer //
 03/15/2017

There has been a long running controversy about fish oil or plant oil for heart health. And this Fish Oil or Plant Oilcontroversy has created confusion for the general public.

Why?

Because of your body’s need for essential fatty acids called Omega-3 fats. There are 3 of them:

ALA (alpha-linolinic acid) which is a short chain fatty acid from plants

EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) which is a long chain fatty acid from Fish or Krill Oil

DHA (decosahexaenoic acid) which is a long chain fatty acid from Fish or Krill Oil

These fatty acids are considered essential because your body cannot make them. And they provide the following health benefits:

How Nitric Oxide Addresses Cognitive Function

Posted by Dan Hammer //
 01/22/2017

Issues with cognitive function are growing in the general population. As I did research on the last post Cognitive Functionregarding a new Alzheimer’s treatment program I came across the following title and article. Since I’m a big believer in the power of nitric oxide therapy to improve cardiovascular health I just had to read it.

The title says it all.

Cognitive function is aided by proper nitric oxide production.

If you would like to read it, then the link to the article is below the title. However, I’ve produced a new video to help you better understand this area.

Involvement of nitric oxide in learning & memory processes

You have two choices in understanding how nitric oxide therapy addresses cognitive function. The video version which you can watch. Or an edited text version of the same information. I’ll let you decide which you prefer.

New Alzheimer’s Treatment Program Shows Promise

Posted by Dan Hammer //
 01/15/2017

Our friends in Australia have released information on a new Alzheimer’s treatment program that showsAlzheimer's Treatment promise. At least in mice. I’ll share the information below but before I do it reminds me of this section from a Scottish poem written by Robert Burns in 1785. Here it it:

But little Mouse, you are not alone,
In proving foresight may be vain:
The best laid schemes of mice and men
Go often askew,
And leave us nothing but grief and pain,
For promised joy!

There have been many attempts to help solve the grief and pain associated with Alzheimer’s disease. Here’s hoping that this new Alzheimer’s treatment does not go askew but actually delivers a real hope to untangle the main cause of Alzheimer’s disease. Here’s the article that caught my attention.

New Alzheimer’s treatment fully restores memory function
